Commercial / Technology Solicitor  -  Oxford / Hybrid Working

GWR Legal Recruitment are working with a highly regarded national law firm to assist them in recruiting an additional Solicitor into their growing Commercial and Technology team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a 3–5 PQE Solicitor with a background in commercial contracts, technology, intellectual property and/or data protection to join a successful and expanding practice, with a reputation that spreads nationally in the Tech sector.

The team acts for a broad range of clients, from entrepreneurial start-ups and growing businesses through to established national and international organisations. As a result, the work is varied and interesting and will give the successful candidate the opportunity to build further experience across a broad range of commercial and technology matters.

The role will involve a mixture of advising, drafting and negotiating commercial and technology agreements, advising on IP and data protection issues and supporting clients on wider commercial projects. You will have the opportunity to take responsibility for your own matters whilst also working alongside senior members of the team on larger and more complex instructions.

The firm is looking for someone who is technically strong but also commercially minded and able to provide practical advice to clients. You should be comfortable dealing directly with clients and have an interest in developing long-term relationships and your own profile within the market. There is genuine scope to get involved in business development and to play an active part in the continued growth of the practice.
