Senior Family Lawyer (Senior Associate/Legal Director) - Cambridge

GWR Legal Recruitment are working with a legal 500 and chambers listed law firm in the Cambridge area, assisting with the recruitment of a senior lawyer to their family law team.

This role will entail dealing with a caseload of privately funded family law matters, with a particular lean towards divorce and financial remedy matters.

The successful candidate for this role will be a qualified Solicitor with upwards of 5 years PQE of dealing with employment law matters. You will enjoy and be happy to focus mainly on non contentious work and ideally will have some knowledge and understanding of representing clients in the education sector.

You will be coming in as the go to lawyer for family in the Cambridge office, but will have the support of the family law team based in other offices. This is by no means a standing start position as they have a steady flow of instructions coming into the team, however you will be expected to actively get involved in the marketing and BD activities of the department to ensure the department goes from strength to strength.
