Legal Secretary – Norwich

Details

A Solicitors practice in Norwich is looking to recruit a Legal Secretary to their property team.

The role will entail providing support to fee earners dealing with a caseload of both residential and commercial property. The property team at this firm is a successful and busy team but is not a high-volume type of environment. So, the role would suit people looking for more of a traditional Solicitors firm in which to work.

Duties will include things such as the following:-

- Dealing with new enquiries into the team and providing quotes
- Initial file opening and obtaining all relevant documents, ID and relevant information
- Typing up/preparation of correspondence and documents related to property transactions
- Providing updates to clients and other parties via the telephone or email.
- Diary management for fee earners and booking meeting rooms or organising video conference calls
- Requesting searches
- Dealing with registrations at the Land Registry

It is essential that any applicant can demonstrate experience of working within a Residential Conveyancing or commercial property team in their current or previous roles. You will have a good understanding of the conveyancing process and will be a confident communicator, with a keen eye for detail. In addition to these skills, you will also have a friendly and personable nature and enjoy providing a top level of service to clients you come into contact with.

In exchange for your work you can expect to be rewarded well. The firm will pay a good salary which will very much be based on your experience. In addition to this they will offer a benefits package which includes 25 days annual leave, private healthcare and bonus schemes.
