Residential Property Solicitor / Legal Executive / Licensed Conveyancer, London (Tower Hamlets)

GWR Legal Recruitment is working with a well-regarded London law firm to appoint an additional residential property lawyer to their expanding team.

The successful candidate will be joining the firm’s successful and ambitious residential conveyancing team, performing a range of duties including:

• Acting for clients on residential sales and purchases, from first instruction through to completion
• Working with both leasehold and freehold properties
• Preparing and reviewing contracts, transfers and other deeds
• Carrying out title investigations and submitting Land Registry applications
• Guiding clients through shared ownership and new build purchases
• Handling remortgages and transfers of equity
• Giving clear advice on Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) liabilities
• Keeping matters moving by working closely with estate agents, lenders and other professionals

You will likely be a qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx) or Licensed Conveyancer, ideally with a minimum of 1 year’s PQE and a demonstrable, solid background in residential conveyancing.
