Senior Commercial Lawyer -  Cambridge/Hybrid Working

GWR Legal Recruitment are working with a highly regarded commercial law firm  to assist them in recruiting a Senior  commercial lawyer to their team in Cambridge

This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with a solid background in dealing with commercial contracts, technology, intellectual property and/or data protection to join a successful and expanding practice, with a reputation that spreads nationally in the Tech sector.

The role will involve a mixture of advising, drafting and negotiating commercial and technology agreements, advising on IP and data protection issues and supporting clients on wider commercial projects as well as playing a leading part, with the support of the rest of the senior leadership team, in developing the firms IP offering in the tech sector in Cambridge and beyond.

It is expected that any applicants will already be operating at a senior level in this space locally and will likely either be at partner level looking to make a lateral move for a new challenge, or alternatively at senior associate or legal director level and looking for partnership progression prospects in a relatively short space of time.  A client following would be ideal of course, or at least an eagerness and confidence to get involved actively in BD, networking and marketing on behalf of the firm.
